The reason why people sometimes became stupid or made an ass of themselves is due to their arrogance and pride. Arrogance and pride is such a dominant evil force that it can influence a person to lie and do stupid things.
When you mastermind your fabrication, be it in words or deeds, someday when it is exposed, you become a victim of your own blunder.
All who fear the LORD will hate evil. That is why I hate pride, arrogance, corruption, and perverted speech. Proverbs 8:13

An idiot is someone who has surrender his mind to a greater and mightier mind whom he trust to guide him in his earthly lives.
An idiot is someone who trust in the wisdom of God, because an idiot's wisdom has brought him much folly.
